In this class, you will working with commercially available stamps, textures and shape cutters to create your original creations using metal clay.
About the class:
Create a unique and beautiful piece of jewelry using stamps, textures and shape cutters while learning the process of working with base metal clay. Kim will walk you through how to prepare your own clay, the basic tools you need to work with the clay, tips and tricks of attaching metal clay pieces, and more.
This is a beginners class and introduction to working with base metal clay. There is no experience necessary, all tools and clay are provided. Just bring yourself, your willingness to learn and your desire to create.
Class length is approximately 2 hours. All pieces created are fired and finished by Kim and available for pick up or delivery within two days of the class.
Each student may pick out ONE of the following finishes, additional finishes can be added for a minimal fee. Typically, students create more than one piece per class.
